TORONTO, July 22, 2008 -- Polyair Inter Pack Inc. (TSX:PPK), announced today the appointment of Mr. David Evans as Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors effective immediately. David Evans is the Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Leoville Holdings, LLC, a private equity investment manager with over $1.2 billion under management in several alternative asset businesses. Leoville Holdings is the corporate parent of Glencoe Capital, the private equity firm that Mr. Evans founded in 1993. Mr. Evans has more than two decades of experience in merchant and investment banking, principal investing, and private equity. He is Chairman of the firm’s Investment Committee, and he has served as Chairman or Director of numerous public and private companies.

Mr. Evans is replacing Mr. Louis Manetti, who has served as an Officer since 2004 and as Chairman of Polyair since January 2008. The Company’s board of directors expressed its appreciation for the contribution made by Mr. Manetti during his tenure as Chairman of the Company.
